Old Cropton Photos 3
During the 1953 Coronation the children of Cropton celebrated with a fancy dress party at the Cropton Cricket Field. We will try and get a few of the names for you. The boy with the dog is David Stephenson. In the Cowboy Outfit is Michael Wood. At the back, in the large black hat, is Colin Belt.

Here we have the Cropton school photo from 1953. Names to follow shortly.

The Cropton School photo from 1920 is below. There must have been a lot of children at that time. The teacher was Mr. Young. The only name we have at the moment is Hilda Hodgson. (Light coloured dress with the pretty white frill). I am almost certain Ida Hill (married name) is behind her. If you know any names please let us know.
