This photo is at Suprise View, Cropton. A short walk, to the north of the village, through the beech avenue will bring you to this magnificent view over the North Yorkshire moors and Cropton forest. There is a picnic table and you can enjoy these views whilst having a snack.
The Cropton Methodist Chapel was built in 1852. Amazingly, for a small village, Cropton once had three chapels and a church. One of the chapels has now been converted into a lovely house and the other chapel is now the village hall.
